Scatterplot

A scatterplot is a summary of a set of two variables, usually drawn before working out a linear correlation coefficient or fitting a regression line. It gives a good visual picture of the relationship between the two variables. The scatterplot I found shows a wifes age in reference to her husbands age. I found it here http://cnx.org/content/m10949/latest/age_scatterplot.gif
